The Central Ohio Unit’s mission is to educate the public by example as to the merit, culture, design, and uses for herbs. The passive demonstration gardens are augmented by educational programming and publications.
Our garden is located inside Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio. Just north and east of Columbus, Ohio, the herb garden delights members and visitors from far and wide – whether for a day’s jaunt or a need to be awed with herbal beauty and serenity.
The jewel of the garden is our thyme collection.
Some of our other specialty gardens include trial, culinary, knot, medicinal, biblical, bee, and fragrance gardens.
The Central Ohio Unit has a plant sale held the first weekend in May. Our quarterly meetings typically feature a guest speaker while our open board meetings cover business matters.
Please contact our chairperson for schedules and details on upcoming meetings.
